SciSports and GFI announce match analysis partnership
Frisco, Texas, February 5th, 2026 – SciSports and the Global Football Innovation Academy (GFI Academy) have announced a new partnership designed to strengthen match analysis, feedback, and player development across GFI Academy’s competitive program’s.

The collaboration brings professional-grade performance analysis into the academy environment, supporting coaches and players with objective insight drawn directly from match play.
Through the partnership, SciSports will provide comprehensive match analysis for GFI Academy teams competing in both 11v11 and 9v9 formats. The agreement covers a total of 34 teams across the academy, with an estimated 900 matches analyzed per season during regular league competition. All matches will be delivered ensuring coaches and staff have timely access to insights that can be applied directly within training and development workflows.
GFI Academy coaches and staff will use SciSports’ analysis platform to review matches through synchronized video and data, enabling deeper understanding of both team and individual performance. The service includes detailed match reports, in-app analysis tools, and individual player profiles that connect performance data with match footage. Collaborative features such as shared playlists and customized reports will allow staff to align analysis across teams and age groups, supporting a unified development philosophy throughout the academy.
In addition to the analytical tools, SciSports will provide dedicated support to ensure smooth implementation and long-term adoption. Football Consultants will work closely with GFI Academy staff to integrate analysis into daily coaching practice, while SciSports’ Operations team will manage match delivery, video uploads, and match data processing to deliver a seamless end-to-end analysis service.

By combining match data, video, and expert support, SciSports and GFI Academy aim to turn every match into a learning opportunity, empowering coaches to make confident decisions and helping players better understand their performance within a competitive environment.
