THE ULTIMATE DATA-DRIVEN SCOUTING TOOL
Powered by an extensive database, which includes over 200,000 football players and covers more than 200 football leagues all around the world, SciSports Insight lets you discover your desired player without any hassle. The advanced search filter supports several relevant search criteria such as a player's preferred positions, age, and contract end date. However, the most interesting search criteria are the SciSkill Index and SciSkill Potential, which are powerful performance metrics that estimate the current and future abilities of football players in an objective manner based on actual performances in football matches.Start my free trial
THE PLAYER SKILL AND POTENTIAL MODEL
SciSports developed the SciSkill model to determine the value and potential of football players. The SciSkill helps us to find great and/or undervalued players by benchmarking them according to similar players. The SciSkill model is based on the influence of players on their team results. STREAMING CAPTURED REALITY
BallJames automatically generates 3D data from video images of football matches. In the stadium, fourteen cameras are installed, which record all the movements on the field. BallJames then generates its own data such as the clearness, direction and speed of the passing, sprinting strength, jumping strength, player movements and how close the ball stays at the foot after a first touch. The Polman Stadium of Heracles Almelo is the first and currently only stadium in the world equipped with this system. We are also currently working on installing the system in two other stadiums, in one which currently plays a top club in the Premier League.
