Last week, SciSports featured at the SoccerEx Global Convention 2016 in Manchester as an exhibitor and speaker. At this event, leading buyers and suppliers in world football are present, combining a conference, an exhibition and a programme of structured and informal networking opportunities.
At the event, we had little insight in what to expect exactly, but we quickly understood that we needed to put ourselves out there and show the world what we have to offer. Since its inception, our data scouting proposition has evolved into a professional and successful service. For the SoccerEx Global Convention, we developed something new: the Position Scan. You can see an example of it here:
The idea of the Position Scan is quite simple. You give us four variables (position, index filter, maximum transfer value and age) for a player search and within an hour, we will present you with a relevant list of 10 players that will fit the profile. In just three days’ time we were able to process dozens of requests, a feat that we are quite proud of. Considering its success, we will be sure to repeat this at the coming events where we will be present.
